Terms and Conditions for Meenal ArtHouse

1. About Our Process

When you work with me at Meenal ArtHouse, you are entering into a collaborative journey to create your unique artwork. By placing an order, you agree to these terms which help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for both of us.

2. Custom Commission Process

Every piece begins with a personal consultation where we discuss your vision, preferred size, design elements, and materials. I will provide sketches and work closely with you to ensure the final piece exceeds your expectations. A detailed commission agreement will outline all specifics before work begins.

3. Investment and Payment

To reserve your commission slot, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon order confirmation. This secures your place in my creation schedule and covers initial materials. The remaining 50% is due upon completion before delivery. Payment plans are available for larger commissions – please discuss during consultation.

4. Creation Timeline and Delivery

Each artwork receives my complete attention and follows traditional techniques that cannot be rushed. Timeline varies based on size and complexity, typically 4-12 weeks. I will provide regular progress updates throughout creation. Secure packaging and shipping arrangements will be made upon final payment.

5. Artwork Ownership and Rights

Upon full payment, you own the physical artwork completely. I retain photography rights for portfolio and promotional purposes. If you prefer complete privacy for your commission, please discuss this during our initial consultation.

6. Design Changes and Modifications

Minor adjustments during the creation process are welcome and included. Significant changes after work has begun may require additional time and materials cost, which we will discuss together before proceeding.

7. Materials and Authenticity Guarantee

All Tanjore paintings use genuine 22-carat gold foil, natural pigments, and traditional techniques. Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity detailing materials used and creation date. This is my personal guarantee of quality and heritage craftsmanship.

8. Care and Handling

Your artwork will include care instructions to ensure its longevity. Proper framing recommendations and maintenance guidelines will be provided to preserve your investment for generations.

9. Unforeseen Circumstances

While I strive to meet all timelines, delays may occur due to material availability, health issues, or other circumstances beyond my control. I will communicate immediately and work with you to find the best solution.

10. Communication and Resolution

I believe in open communication throughout our journey together. Any concerns or questions are always welcome via phone, email, or WhatsApp. Should any issues arise, we will work together to find a fair resolution that honors both your investment and my craftsmanship standards.

11. Governing Terms

These terms are governed by Indian law and any disputes will be resolved through friendly discussion first, with mediation if needed.
